So you want to know more about us?

We are based in Redcar, a small coastal town on the North Yorkshire coast. The summers are brief (but glorious) and winters are long (and wet). The name of the company was Phil's creation, it originated from the very first time we thought about starting a production company and a Rumour was exactly what we were. Now nine years on the production company is funded by our commercial work.
Our experience in media stretches back 20 years or so and we have seen the technology transform the industry. We have worked on huge and quite intimate projects over the years, both as team members and project managers. Our work can be seen in some of the worlds biggest museums, on the small screen, in magazines and in everyday life.

Marc Atkinson | Producer, Illustrator, 3D Artist

Trained as an illustrator in the Royal Marines, Marc has worked his way up the ladder - designer, lead designer 3D modeller, animator, and Producer. Responsible for a number of award winning interactive applications and now lectures part time in Media Production and Games Design. Marc specialises in project and production management, technical illustration and 3D, with a spattering of graphic design thrown in for good measure. More recently Marc has been involved in creating marketing campaigns for a number of clients.

Philip Henderson | Creative Director, 3D Artist

Started in the theatre before studying at Teesside University. An accomplished and highly skilled 3D artist, Phil's work can be seen in museums and exhibitions all over the world.
